furniture

Ever been walking through target or Ikea and "think i could build that." Well that my friends is how you start into the hobby of woodworking. I was exceedingly tired of buying expensive furniture built with the cheapest materials and having them fall apart. Thats when i started buying tools and building my own. now its become a passion of mine to build long lasting furniture that is unique and beautiful.

Island extension Bar top

A walnut butcher block top help up by white ash legs that have been stained black. the legs were put together with a combination of half lap joint and wedged tenons tying it all together.

Solid walnut bed frame

Cherry basinet

This Cherry bassinet with basket was a great baby shower gift.

Sepelle dining table

This was my biggest project yet. This table is build to stand the test of time and children. Sepelle is a very warm wood especially when finished with Rubio monocoat. Don't mind my nephew he was just excited about his new table.

Homework desk

White ash top and black stained white ash legs. Clean lines and black legs are a classic look. I added an inlaid power strip for charging as well as backpack hooks on each side.

Chevron barstools

Chevron patterned barstools made from baltic birch plywood for the homework table.

End table

Walnut top and ash legs held together with mortise and tenon joinery.

White bookshelf

Wifey needed a bookshelf that would fit this narrow space. Four shelves and 2 drawers got filled up really fast because she reads a lot of books. looks like she is going to need another shelf to keep expanding her book collection.  Made from baltic birch plywood an painted white to match the other furniture in the room.

Red oak cube side table

Built a pair of these cubey tables. they got that mid century modern feel and continuous grain waterfalling from the top to sides.
